The Annual Chamber Banquet is celebrated every January at the Dardanelle Community Center on Hwy 22. DACC recognizes how hard our members work to better the City of Dardanelle and surrounding areas. Guest speakers vary, but the food is always guaranteed to be tasty and delicious.
Yell County Wildlife Federation Building, on Hwy 22, is a great match for our Cheese Festival celebration. After many conversations and rule discovery, we call our St Patrick’s Day Celebration, The Cheese Festival. Still, in its “Let’s get this Right” Phase, Statewide exhibitors are invited to serve samplings of their best sellers, in hopes to entice our locals to venture outside of Yell County and see what the Natural State has to offer. (Hint- There are over 52 wineries and breweries throughout the state.) Live music and games add to a fun swinging environment. You must be 21 or older to attend.
Free State of Yell
The Annual Free State of Yell Fest celebrates the heritage of our community, highlighting the immigrants that migrated to Dardanelle. With a long history of being one of the State’s leading immigration centers, which continues to this day, Dardanelle is proud of the Czechoslovakian, German and Hispanic populations that influence our Community.
Working with the Dardanelle Area Chamber of Commerce, local businesses, booster clubs, and civic organizations sponsor the carnival, entertainment and events including a 5K Run, Pancake Breakfast and Yelling Contest. Plans for this year also include a Civil War Reenactment.
“Life is like a box of Chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.”
A fundraiser for a local need in the community, especially when life doesn’t go as planned. Vendors offer unique chocolate creations along with traditional chocolate delights. A few examples: Chocolate chipotle popcorn, chocolate dipped strawberries, Grandma’s Fudge and chocolate gravy with Biscuits.
