The Dardanelle Area Chamber of Commerce (DACC) is organized for the purpose of advancing the commercial, agricultural, the industrial and civic interest of Dardanelle, AR and its trade area.

The first recorded meeting of the Dardanelle Chamber of Commerce was September 11, 1919. The city paid Charles Russ to organize the Chamber in electing officers, writing a constitution and by-laws. The first Board was elected on September 18, 1919.

The Mt Nebo Chicken Fry was started in 1948 as a salute to the poultry industry in the area. It traditionally is known as a political forum. The Chicken Fry was moved to Veteran’s Park in 2005 and made its grand appearance back on the Mountain in 2017 with some 2400 visitors.

Along with the Mt Nebo Chicken Fry, DACC sponsors a number of festivals and events around the community. Including Christmas Trees at the Courthouse.
